"Holiday"[edit]

Do. Not. Add. Holiday. As. A. Single.

It is not confirmed by anyone, and if you find a reliable source explicitly stating "Holiday" is the second single off of Confetti, add it to this article, and change the song page as well as Little Mix discography and List of songs recorded by Little Mix while adding sources to each article. If you cannot find a reliable source stating the above fact, you will be reverted. Thanks so much! Doggy54321 (talk) 20:56, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to 140.161.81.22, there is a reliable article from Sony Music stating that "Holiday" is the second single. Round of applause 👏. Thanks so much! Doggy54321 (talk) 23:38, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Not done - I think you're referring to a rumoured seventh album. This was a tabloid newspaper report. Either way, without a name or confirmed date we would not add this information. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 09:25, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Confetti as single[edit]

They clearly did is the fourth single off the album, and it will feature rapper Saweetie, so it should be credited as a single off the album whatsoever. See their other songs Power, Touch, and No More Sad Songs as examples, as they had remixes, and they are credited as singles off the album. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:26, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Doggy54321 please read this. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:30, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

According to this source, the remix version of "Confetti" will appear on the Record Store Day edition of Confetti. Personally, I think it should be considered a single as remixes are a form of promotion. Usually with these cases it is the same song with just a rap verse added; essentially the same song. Similar cases include 1989 ("Bad Blood") and Future Nostalgia ("Levitating"). However in both these cases, the original version was serviced to adult contemporary radio and several sources backed up that they were indeed singles from their respective albums so I guess it could be beneficial to wait and see. LOVI33 16:43, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That’s what I’m saying! DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:44, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict) We have several guidelines concerning albums and songs because we have had several similar situations where artists (re-)release things. In this case, we have Template:Infobox album already covering what you are trying to add at §"Template:Singles": "Do not include singles that were added as bonus tracks on a re-release of an album." The remix of Confetti was never released in the standard version, not even in the subsequent versions of it. (CC) Tbhotch 16:45, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Just something to add but similarly with "Bad Blood" and "Levitating", the single version of "Confetti" was never called a remix by the artist, just "Confetti" featuring Saweetie so that could indicate that it is simply just single version vs album version. LOVI33 16:46, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If that's the case, as you said above, its beneficial to wait and see. We are not a crystall ball. (CC) Tbhotch 16:50, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I know that! But see their other songs that were remixed. Power, Touch, etc. They are singles! The same should go to the title track! DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:46, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and btw, should I remove the part where it says confetti is promotional single? DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:48, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)" Touch" solo was the one released as a single, but that’s beside the point. "Power", "NMSS" and "Touch", both solo versions and remixes, were all included on the platinum edition of the album. With "Confetti", the Saweetie remix is on no edition of the album, both at the moment and in the future. Little Mix hasn't confirmed an edition where the remix is on. One could even argue that the promotional cycle for Confetti is over, as they haven’t put new material out for five months and have stated that they are currently actively working on new music. That is why I think "Confetti" remix featuring Saweetie should not be listed as a single from the album. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 16:50, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok good point, but what about Think About Us. Featured Ty Dolla Sign, and it wasn’t featured on any edition of the album, but it’s still credited as a single. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:51, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I mentioned above that the remix is set to be included on the RSD edition of the album. LOVI33 16:52, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That comes out this June, and, per Tbhotch's comment and the source, the single is shaping up to be a bonus track (when a source says something along the lines of "including an all new remix of 'Confetti' featuring Saweetie", it's safe to assume it will be a bonus track) on a re-release of the album, which shouldn't be added/referred to as a single off of the album. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 17:02, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah good point. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:55, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone respond to me on my recent comment? DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 16:57, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm assuming it's because sources referred to it as the second single off of LM5. Same thing with "Bad Blood" ("Levitating" is a different story, it was included on one of the special editions of Future Nostalgia) But, until there is a reliable source that calls the remix a single "from Confetti", I will not support it being added as a single from the album. Even if there are sources, it still won't make sense to me how songs that aren't included on any edition of the album are singles from the album, but I will still support it being added as a single from the album (WP:STICKTOSOURCE). Please remember to be patient, it takes a couple minutes for me to get my thoughts out, edit and post my comments. Thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 16:59, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I’m sorry for getting mad. I get what you mean. I removed Confetti as a single for now. Let’s just wait DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 17:01, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you got mad, I think you just got a bit impatient, which I totally get. I agree, waiting won't do us any harm. Once the single is released, we will have a lot more clarity. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 17:03, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I accidentally messed up the page. Can someone fix it? I don’t know how to. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 17:11, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 17:13, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Doggy54321 DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 17:13, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Official Charts Company has called "Confetti" the fourth single off of Confetti. Confetti serves as the fourth single from the group's latest album... There is a source supporting it, and that was my only condition (until there is a reliable source that calls the remix a single "from Confetti", I will not support it being added as a single from the album), so I now support its addition. What does everyone else think? D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 13:09, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I guess I agree. DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 13:21, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Guys! Little Mix revealed the Confetti cover art DuaLipaFan23951 (talk) 11:24, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah! The only thing is, we can't add it until the Confetti (Little Mix song) page is made, which I plan on doing later today. Thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 12:30, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
