Deleted material[edit]

I have deleted unsourced, POV-heavy material making certain allegations regarding the mall's business status that violate Wiki policy. Such claims shouldn't be made -- not even in light of the Wal-Mart closing -- until announced by the mall or reported in the media. Neither of which has occurred. 68.146.81.123 (talk) 03:14, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recently added material by IP[edit]

For some reason the IP that has edited this article recently is being followed around and his edits undone by another user who apparently thinks newspaper articles are not sufficient sourcing. I'm tempted to protect the article so the latest information is left intact, but I'll settle for discussion being held on this talk page before legitimate, sourced information is deleted. I never thought I'd see the day when a local newspaper is not considered a viable source for a local topic. 23skidoo (talk) 00:15, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edits[edit]

Removed the unsourced statement about the mall having many vacancies. Replaced with updated material on Canadian Tire being a standalone and Winners being added to the mall as an anchor. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 17:55, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New info added[edit]

While browsing Star-Phoenix pages on newspapers.com I came across the exact date construction began on the mall, which coincided with a contest to actually name it. As newspapers.com has rules against hotlinking, etc. and is a subscription service, I'm not 100% sure how to handle citations from there, so I just went with article name, newspaper and date and someone more well-versed with newspapers.com can adjust the citations accordingly. 23skidoo (talk) 23:02, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
