Updates[edit]

At present, much of the article reads more as a copied version of the website and old Abbey blog entries. It is lacking in independent reliable sources for citations. I have added a few citations and rearranged the sections so it can be more easily referenced. Any assistance with source citations would be greatly appreciated. Sexual Abuse[edit]

I updated the section on sexual abuse allegations to include the names of the accused, as well as cite sources other than just the abbey itself or a church connected publication. I also changed the wording of "credibly accused of committing acts of sex abuse while serving in the Conception Abbey" to "credibly accused of committing acts of sex abuse while serving on behalf of Conception Abbey." Some of the alleged abuse occurred while the monks were on assignment away from the abbey, but yet that assignment was made by the Abbot of the time which assigned the monk to that ministry and location.
