Wait, what?[edit]

This article opens with "Computer Braille is an adaptation of braille to represent the computer code.". Now, I'm no expert in computers, (...well, some might disagree), but "the computer code" doesn't make sense- which one? There's more than one code used in computers. What does 'code' even mean here? Are we talking about programming or about ASCII or what? Hppavilion1 (talk) 04:06, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Does 8-dot code have 256 entries[edit]

There are 256 different 8-dot patterns, but the 8-dot diagram is showing only 128 and never turns on the lower-right dot 8. Do these characters also work, and possibly have assignments picked by matching them to the CP437 code page like it appears the first 127 do?

Yes table is missing the bottom half.

The 6-dot patterns match?[edit]

Text claims the 6-bit patterns match between the two tables and "Braille ASCII" but in fact there are differences between all three. Anybody want to clarify? There may be mistakes in the tables so I'm not going to change the text.Spitzak (talk) 01:20, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
