ไอ้บ้า, "ai ba" (/ʔâj baː/) means "son of a b1tch"?[edit]

Hi, I was just passing through this page on the way down the rabbit hole. As a Thai speaker I feel like "ai ba" these days is not as strong as "son of a b!tch" in English. While it literally means "you're crazy", it's not exactly that... although I think it does mean that sometimes.

Maybe "you idiot" is closer? "Dammit" probably works as well in my opinion... as in ไอ้บ้าเอ๊ย "ai ba oey". Well, "son of a b!tch" in English works as a similar expression as well, not just an insult, so I don't really know. Unidentified.yama (talk) 02:50, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
