Please, do not delete this article. It does not simply promote or advertise an entity. To begin with, Community Legal Centres do not constitute an 'entity'; as suggested in the article, they are only very loosely affiliated elements in a larger movement for social justice. However, considered as a whole, the Community Legal Centre (CLC) movement formed and continues to form an important part of Australian legal history. The CLC movement has shaped the Australian legal landscape, as the refereed, scholarly publications cited in the article indicate.

The article accurately describes the ethos behind the development of CLCs and their sources of funding, and provides a sketch of their early history and consolidation of their role on the Australian legal scene.

I am happy to review the article for 'non-neutral' language; however, I must emphasise that it has not been written to advertise CLCs or to celebrate their efforts beyond their due. For example, I have been careful to state that their real impact in the area of Australian law reform has been difficult to assess in either qualitative or quantitative terms. 130.194.191.137 (talk) 03:48, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe not promotional, but it sure does lack referencing. I will see if I can find a bit more RS material - the content seems fine, but that's not the benchmark for an Encyclopedia. Regards Danh108 (talk) 19:22, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merge this with law centre[edit]
