[Untitled][edit]

Carina Hernandez and I, Carlo Gutierrez are participants of the 2013 Alternative Spring program offered here in UC Santa Cruz. While we enjoy and treasure the experiences ASB offered us, we also found that the program needs a lot of constructive criticism. One our and our peers' concerns about ASB was the lack of information about the trip; many of us didn't really know what we were getting into. The "Community Agroecology Network Alternative Spring Break" wikipedia page offers transparency and information about an incredible program offered in this campus. Our intent is not to advertise, but rather inform future participants who may find themselves in a similar situation as us where we would like to know more, but don't know how or what to ask. This page offers information for students to understand the history and the objective of the program to hopefully ignite their curiosity, and maybe even add on to this page.

When we started making this page, we made a similar page Alternative Spring Break (ASB), what we did is copy and pasted the information and put it onto this page. We wanted to make one page, and have it done right.
