Album release date[edit]
There are no dates (other than the performance date) on the LP album cover, sleeve, or on the record itself, so the actual release date is uncertain. --Blainster 22:34, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- My (used) copy of the LP has a copyright notice of 1964, and I cannot find any mentions of the album that say other than 1964. Mine may be a later reprinting, however, as the record has the orange-lettered version of the Masterworks label.
- The liner notes do say that they (that is, the notes themselves) derive from the 1961 event mentioned in this article, and all the pieces on the album are from 1961 or earlier; but the notes do not explicitly state that the album itself is from 1961, or even that the pieces on the album are the same ones as from the event mentioned. The 1961 event is described only as a "program," not as a concert or performance. Richard K. Carson (talk) 03:11, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
