Proposed deletion of College Football Data Warehouse section

Semi-protected edit request on 4 May 2020

Just a fan of college football, not a serious editor, but I know how seriously you guys take stuff like this. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to add a section explaining what the SRS system was:

Simple Rating System; a rating that takes into account average point differential and strength of schedule. The rating is denominated in points above/below average, where zero is average, although it should be noted that margin of victory has been assigned a lower bound of 7 points and an upper bound of 24 points. Non-major opponents are included as a single team in the ratings.

and then insert a column next to the record of the champions selected in each year and put their SRS rating for that year so that individuals can have a number to back up the claims of the champions and see how good they were for that year. Washington - two claimed titles - New Citation

The University of Washington has claimed the 1991 National Championship since the end of their undefeated 1991 season. In 2007, they additionally recognized the 1960 team as National Champions. The two years 1960 and 1991, exclusive, are displayed inside Husky Stadium as National Champions.

However, the UW Football Media guide has always listed the 4 years in which UW was selected by any poll/selector. Wikipedia has used this media guide as the citation to list 4 "claimed" titles by the Huskies in 1960, 1984, 1990, and 1991.

Today, UW Athletics has released a new official notice of the 2 claimed championships for 1960 and 1991.

The 1984 and 1990 teams are indicated as having been selected as champions by certain polls, but are stated to be not officially claimed by UW.

I'm posting this information on Talk for review prior to editing the "National championship claims by school" table. Or, if anyone else would like to make this edit, please do so.
