Co-operative or cooperative?[edit]

The links on this page are a problem. It is partly due to the alternative spellings of "cooperative". Some links should or should not have hyphens, and some don't seem to go anywhere at all. I don't have time to sort it all out right now if ever.Slowman1 04:22, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is one spelling or the other preferred? -- SueHay 22:21, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is an ongoing problem. While the American English spelling is cooperative, elsewhere in the world it is often spelled co-operative. Please see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#National_varieties_of_English for wikipedia's policy on this sort of thing. Gobonobo T C 06:00, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
