Photo?[edit]

@DanTD: I'd be willing to take some photos here, but what is there to photograph? Is there anything of the original station still remaining? -- RoySmith (talk) 00:50, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe some remnants of the old platform if you can find it? An old image that's not a copyvio would also be nice if you can get that. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 00:27, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@DanTD I found this wonderful image on facebook. Unfortunately, I don't think we can use it due to licensing, but it's still a great image! I have a question about the station closing in 1960. I'm looking for a WP:RS for that, to use in Claremont Park. Do you know of one? The best I've found is a bloggy-looking page at Columbia University that I've cited, but it's kind of not really a RS. -- RoySmith (talk) 17:28, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And this too -- RoySmith (talk) 17:41, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a date for the first image?--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 02:54, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The facebook page claims May 24, 1936. On a whim, I wrote to the Metro North help people asking if they had any images I could use. They referred me to their FOIL people, who told me they don't handle this kind of enquiry, but referred me to the New York Transit Museum, who apparently don't believe in Creative Commons. -- RoySmith (talk) 16:01, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like they got that from https://www.oldnyc.org/#700771f-a and/or https://digitalcollections.nypl.org/items/510d47dc-a66f-a3d9-e040-e00a18064a99 -- RoySmith (talk) 18:04, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And just for fun, yet another image, but incompatible with our licensing. Sigh. -- RoySmith (talk) 20:51, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
