Question to a source

In addition, the Occupation Statute of 1949, which granted partial independence to the newly created Federal Republic of Germany, specifically forbade the imposition of import quotas to protect German film production from foreign competition, the result of lobbying by the American industry as represented by the MPAA.

I checked this here https://www.cvce.eu/en/obj/text_of_the_occupation_statute_of_germany_bonn_12_may_1949-en-6750efd3-4b34-4fec-9a4a-df0ff125d302.html but those passages are more abstract, so where is the evidence with the MPAA story for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Filmfan15 (talkcontribs) 17:52, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
