Medieval?[edit]

Neither the year 1604 nor the 19th century would seem to fall under the label "Medieval", as it is customary to have the Middle Ages end ca. 1500. Or is there a different tradition for Constantinople? -- 77.187.159.28 (talk) 19:27, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is maybe more a case of being a medieval foundation. Johnbod (talk) 00:51, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The church is not medieval: it is one of the many mistakes in the article (based on bad sources) which I now corrected. Alex2006 (talk) 10:17, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

pictures[edit]

I have put that page in 'External links', but you can't upload that pictures without permission. Kebeta (talk) 12:59, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • The church shown in the photo is the Armenian church of Surp Krikor Lusavoriç in Galata. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.175.32.138 (talk) 08:02, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please remove the current picture, it does not show the correct church, but indeed the Getronagan Armenian Church in Karaköy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.140.23.193 (talk) 11:47, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. Alex2006 (talk) 12:32, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please remove the current picture in the gallgery, because it does not show the correct picture, but the tower of the (former) British hospital built in 1904. The bell tower of San Piyer is green. On the Turkish Vikipedi Page the same (wrong) building is shown.
 Done, thanks! Alex2006 (talk) 12:28, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
