Great job on summarizing the breadth of information on C. populi. I had italicized the species name throughout the entry. While reading the lead section, I noticed that the beetle is prone to causing damage to plants through its feeding behavior, but there's no dedicated section addressing the extent of this damage. It may be helpful to add a paragraph or two clarifying which species of tree is specifically targeted by C. populi, or to broaden the section to include the overall impact on the appearance of foliage. Additional sections to consider are human efforts towards pest control and any notable mating behavior exhibited by this species. Some sentences throughout the section lack in-line citations. I recommend that if all the information in a section is from the same source, consider placing an in-line citation in the middle of the paragraph and re-emphasizing it at the end of the section to clarify the source of the information. I really enjoyed reading and learning from this entry!JacksonPanWashU (talk) 19:46, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This article is off to a really strong start. To help it along, I broke a lot of the longer paragraphs into shorter, wikipedia style sections. I also reordered some of your sectioning to fit the expected flow of beetle wiki pages. Finally, I moved some information around into the correct sections. For example, you had a lengthy paragraph on the feeding behavior of larva, which I put under a new "Larva" subsection of the Food Resources heading.
