This needs some work. It does not mention that he was a junior MI6 officer before WWII, and in 1940 he accompanied my father to Jersey and they would both have come to a sticky end as no one in England had realised that the Islands had already surrendered. They had to be extracted in some haste! I assume he stayed in SIS for the whole war, hence both he and my father receiving the Legion of Merit. C.cohen (talk) 12:04, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
