Edward Richardson[edit]

Apparently, he represented Christchurch West from 1871 to 1875, so the NZETC source might not be entirely correct. Has somebody got access to New Zealand Parliamentary Record 1840-1984 for clarification? Schwede 66 23:41, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1871 general election[edit]

It would appear that the Christchurch electorate did not exist for the 1871 election, but that it was replaced by Christchurch West and Christchurch East (those existed for that term only).election results Can somebody confirm this please? Schwede 66 21:14, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
