He has been officially traded to the Mavericks from the Rockets as of August 2. He will most likely be waived but that has yet to happen, so he is on the Mavericks roster right now. For a reference, look at the Abdul Nader situation where it was said he would be waived by the Celtics but was later traded to the Thunder.
