APAC links[edit]

As the CNNIC media release page mostly is unavailable, I also added a link to the relevant news item on blog.anta.net. --85.156.230.157 (talk) 22:18, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently incorrect article name - doesn't match acronym[edit]

This page is entitled "China Internet Network Information Centre", which would be abbreviated as CINIC, yet the organisation is abbreviated "CNNIC". This Chinese page refers to it as "China National Network Information Center", which matches the acronym. Presumably the name of the wiki article page came from a link like this.

I propose renaming the page and all links to it, to match the acronym, unless anyone knows a good reason not to Rmallins (talk) 00:30, 25 March 2010 (UTC).[reply]

From the official web site: "China Internet Network Information Center (abbreviated as CNNIC) is an administration and service organization" --Berntie (talk) 13:05, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"non-profit organization"[edit]

This may be a non-profit organization, but a non-profit organization in China isn't necessarily the same as a non-profit organization elsewhere. Most readers will assume it is the sort that they are most familiar with. 50.89.71.42 (talk) 07:10, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
