Chiang Wei-ling 蔣偉寧 N or L??[edit]

I know that n- and l- sounds are switched around freely in some dialects. So to me, the romanization of Mr. Chiang Wei-ling's name makes total sense. But shouldn't his toneless Wade-Giles name be written as Chiang Wei-ning and not Chiang Wei-ling? Is this spelling just a personal choice he made? Is this choice indicative of some sort of trend or common non-standard way that Wade-Giles is being used in Taiwan? I see that the Pe̍h-ōe-jī for 寧 starts with an 'l'. --Geographyinitiative (talk) 01:25, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization- "Wei-Ling Chiang"[edit]

If you look at this TOCFL certificate: [1], you can see his name written as "Wei-Ling Chiang"- should his name on Wikipedia be changed to be written the way he wanted it written on TOCFL certificates? Geographyinitiative (talk) 10:44, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
