@Dwkaminski: There are two places where this article does not meet B class criteria. See the "citation needed" tags. This is a well-written article about a significant person from the American Civil War and your efforts are appreciated. I strongly recommend (though it's not a requirement) that you submit articles for B class review before you submit them for GA review. You can submit articles for B class review on this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history/Assessment Please add the two missing citations and submit the article for B class review. For B class articles, it is more likely that the reviewers will make simple fixes and make suggestions for improvements. Please don't give up because this one "failed".
