Neutrality Tag[edit]

Where is the discussion relating to the disputed neutrality of this article?RashersTierney (talk) 14:52, 26 September 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by RashersTierney (talkcontribs) [reply]

There is none, so I am removing it now until we hear from the person concerned.86.42.199.193 (talk) 11:56, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good. Your tidy-up is also a considerable improvement. RashersTierney (talk) 12:15, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Section off-topic[edit]

The latter part of "Envoy to Berlin" wanders completely off-topic, focussing upon de Valera and Herzog, not Bewley. Also, the "Vittel episode" is totally unexplained - the WP entry makes no reference to this.

It seems like this material has been abstracted from some other uncited source, and feels quite out of context. I'll try to do some cleaning up, but this is not really my area of expertise. jxm (talk) 19:22, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the section mentions that the Irish constitution 'later' removed the 'special position' of the Roman Catholic church. I don't want to edit as this section may be removed but the 1937 constitution actually established the 'special position' while also recognising other faiths. As currently written, the section suggests that the 1937 constitution removed some pre-existing 'special position' which is not the case.137.43.147.233 (talk) 14:22, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In CIA documents it reads "1. BEHIEY, former Irish Minister to Germany, who during the war worked in Bone (or Vatican City) attempting to get Irish priests as agents to Britain, Source does not believe that BETilEY was successful: but he had first class information con-cerning the internal situation in Italy ....." in : https://numbers-stations.com/cia/German%20Intelligence%20Service%20(wwii),%20%20Vol.%203/GERMAN%20INTELLIGENCE%20SERVICE%20(WWII),%20%20VOL.%203_0002.pdf2A01:CB08:87F9:5200:80E3:F821:4A4D:7D82 (talk) 08:35, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
