a founder of the International Union of Crystallography?[edit]

I deleted that statement because his part in the forming of the International Union of Crystallography was marginal. Paul Peter Ewald was the originator of the idea of forming the union, and William Lawrence Bragg was the one that was responsible for converting the idea into reality. Mauguin, as the outstanding french crystallographer, was contacted, as was A. A. Ketelaar in the Netherlands, Donnay in the USA... etc. See The International Union of Crystallography: its formation and early development. Avihu (talk) 13:09, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
