American English[edit]

Concerned editors please note. When I created this article I wrote it in American English even though I am British. Since the topic had no strong ties to any English variant (see WP:ENGVAR) there is no reason to change the spellings to follow British conventions. ► Philg88 ◄ talk 22:02, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, that's why I did the revert. Montanabw(talk) 23:04, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For article improvement: Chariot weight?[edit]

I think some figures on the weight of the chariots would be useful, unfortunately haven't yet found any real quantitative figures in this regard; however, the construction seems to have emphasized lightness of weight, and thus quickness of speed. Origin[edit]

Fwiw, it's fine that we have three sources crediting them to Xi Zhong. It's worth noting though that there are other accounts of China's legendary prehistory that credit their invention to Xuanyuan, a culture hero who later seems to have gotten conflated with the Yellow Emperor. — LlywelynII 03:48, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
