Just a thought[edit]

Should this article not be Channel 4 News (UK)? could have been an American who made it like this by mistake. - TheKeith 18:10, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2 questions about the above comment on this talk page[edit]

  1. What does the green as opposed to red on the flag on the signature indicate??
  2. What is the difference between Britain and the United Kingdom?? Georgia guy 17:38, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thanks for the responce;
  1. It's a Union Flag the Northern Ireland national football team colours.
  2. United Kingdom (or UK) is usually considered the correct short form of the name of the country Channel 4 News is from. Britain, I accept, is used informally (see article), is not generally considered the correct term as used in this article. Hope this helps. - theKeith 17:53, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Primary topic disambiguation solves the problem. Jooler 18:04, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That works for me. - theKeith 18:06, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I could only find 1 link to Channel 4 News (from NewsCenter 4) that was intended to refer to a US news programme, I have disambiguated the link and that link now stands as the ONLY link to the Channel 4 News (United States) page apart from the disambiguation page. Therefore the primary topic disambiguation was a bit of a no-brainer. Jooler 18:09, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
