Chamorro standard time is a time zone recently approved by the Congress of the United States, under the office of Congressman Robert Underwood. This designation is for the time zone within the Mariana Islands of Guam, Saipan, Rota, Tinian, and other northern territories within this island chain.

Because 15 USC 263 officially designates this the 'Chamorro' time zone, this and the Guam Time Zone articles should be merged together under the Chamorro name, with a redirect from Guam Time Zone to the legal designation. The Monster 20:09, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge them. Jɪmp 09:06, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am "merging" them, but due to certain issues I moved the Guam Time Zone article to Chamorro Time Zone and updated the content there; I am now changing this article to a redirect. For more details, see Talk:Chamorro Time Zone. --RBBrittain 08:03, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
