In any case, you are more than welcome to apply the "sofixit" mantra: don't hesitate to work harder and provide by yourself more facts, more references, more categories and more whatever. Pldx1, I can't fix every unreferenced article that comes through New Page Patrol, but that doesn't mean I can't help. In this case, I reviewed the article (ticked it off at acceptable for Wikipedia so it can now be indexed by Google) and politely asked you to add your sources. I hoped you would remember where you had got your information from and so it wouldn't be too big an issue for yout oadd it there - I'm happy to add it if you let me know what the source was. Dear Galactic Patroller. You are describing tagging and thereafter discussing as a 'polite' mode. Perhaps you should consider a 'more polite' mode, i.e. discussing first, and then only tagging if necessary. User:Pldx you seem to be unclear how New Page Patrol works. NPP reviews all new pages across all topics. It is unreasonable to expect reviewers to fix everything they find wrong for they are likely not even experts on or interested in the random topics they look at. No sources. The creator was asked on talk to provide them but declined.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dear User:Legacypac. You were proposing to delete this Chae Je-gong page, instead of applying the wp:SOFIXIT policy, because you are not interested in such a random topic. Despite your personal lack of interest, no less than 27 main space articles are referring to this historical figure! By the way, you should perceive the difference between "the author was politely asked to..." and "the author was templated and summoned to...". The former is largely more efficient than the later.
