Inexpensive

According to the school's home page, "An education at Chabot College is the best buy in higher education today! Compare Chabot's annual tuition (approx. $700 a year) with the California State University system ($2,800), the University of California system ($6,500), and the private colleges ($24,000 and up). Date of Vote?

The article says "The formation of a 'junior college district' was approved by the voters on January 10, 1998, and the first board of trustees elected on April 18, 1961. Chabot College opened for classes on September 11, 1961..." The vote couldn't have been in 1998 and might not even have been on January 10, but I don't know the correct date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.4.239.249 (talk) 19:37, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
