I was going to put a note about "original research" on this page, but it cant even be considered research as most of the information is just plain false. It was never part of the "Mohawk Turnpike" that turnpike existed from Schenectady west, not east to Albany. It was the Albany-Schenectady Turnpike. That is just one instance.
