Taxonomic rank, etc[edit]

Shouldn't the higher taxonomic rank as title of article be preferable to a lower rank. Given the option, Carterinida (an order) takes preference over Carterina ( a genus). Lower taxa can be described within articles on related higher taxa and can be so directed in links.

Foraminifera taxonomy in Wikipedia seems out of wack. Rhizaria is not a kingdom unless it is entirely synomymous with Protoctista, or Protista , in which case since either term takes precedence, it should be used instead. J.H.McDonnell (talk) 16:04, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP:TOL gives this advice: "If there is no common name, the article should generally go under the scientific name that is most often used when discussing the group, or under the scientific name of lowest rank if there is no clear preference." --Stemonitis (talk) 17:10, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
