Untitled[edit]

I added a second picture as viewed from the northwest Nebraska side since the lake is more prominent in this photo. An aerial photograph might be best, but this would until someone could upload one that shows the horseshoe lake in its entirety. In this picture Eppley Airfield is to the left.Jan Tik 03:06, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added pic[edit]

Not sure it was the best one, but the Eppley Airfield entry had one with Carter Lake in the background, so I added it. DandyDan2007 10:41, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rename article[edit]

I had originally named this section "Move to Carter Lake", but I discovered there is a Carter Lake in Nova Scotia, Canada, and added it to the dab page, so my new idea is: I would like to move this article to Carter Lake (Iowa-Nebraska), because calling it Carter Lake (lake) is redundant. Don't know if there is a proper convention for this. DandyDan2007 (talk) 09:10, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Changed name of article today, still links to Carter Lake (lake) to fix. DandyDan2007 (talk) 09:15, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Carter Lake, IA[edit]

Carter Lake, is in Iowa, and there are two articles describing Carter Lake. I propose to merge it with Carter Lake Iowa in the History section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.168.233.9 (talk) 22:49, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
