Picture[edit]

We need a picture of her. Does anyone have one? --Simon.hess (talk) 12:35, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • There's one up now, but i HATE it with a passion.. God, won't someone PLEASE let us use a better photo.. I've begged a few people on Flickr, but no replies yet.. I'd honestly rather have NO image than bad amateur photos like this one.. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 08:26, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stylized logos[edit]

Regarding repeated admonitions to "look at the logo" for Shake It Up. This is not a reference which should be cited on Wikipedia. The Shake It Up logo uses a lower-case "i" which was discussed and discarded last year, and So Random! uses the "@" and ":" symbols, but it is Wikipedia's policy to ignore stylized logos. I wrote this page last year, when both TV Guide and DirecTV WERE using exclamation points in their listings of the show. TV Guide has since modified their listings eliminating the exclamation point (DirecTV still has not, as can be verified here when viewing the listings for channels 290 & 291). I see the majority of sources no longer use the exclamation point, so I don't have a problem getting rid of it, but I'm just posting here to point out that anyone repeatedly advising others to "look at the logo" for TV shows is misinforming other editors. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 05:34, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Carolinesunshine.com[edit]

There appears to be a website that's been started for Miss Sunshine (named as her "Official" website, although I cannot personally confirm this). I just took a look at her "Bio" page and it's been copy/pasted word-for-word from this Wikipedia page before I expanded the article a few months ago. I'm posting this here for any future editors/admins who may see her Official website and believe this Wikipedia page to be a copyright violation - I wrote this page last year, and can personally guarantee that there was no website for Miss Sunshine at that time (official or unofficial). Her website's admins obviously felt her Wikipedia bio was correct/complete and copy-pasted it (which is fine with me), but no "Official" website for her existed when I wrote her Wikipedia article last year and this page was most definitely not copied from anywhere else. Any pages using this bio (or previous versions of it) verbatim has copy/pasted from Wikipedia, not the other way around.

The website appears to be fairly new, so I'm not adding a link to it on her article page just yet. I'll give it a couple of months - that way, if it's not an "official" website affiliated with Miss Sunshine herself, then that should allow her representatives plenty of time to contact the webmasters with cease & desist instructions. If it's still there by the end of the year (and is still maintained as her "Official" website), then I'll go ahead and link to it on the article page. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 22:57, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kindergarten[edit]

That a Mrs. Sally Palmer was her kindergarten teacher seems a most non-noteworthy factoid. As well, review of the 2 links following that sentence fails to back it up. I removed the sentence but left the links as they do verify her first on-stage performance.Irish Melkite (talk) 04:44, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
