Improving this page[edit]

Greetings: I would like to signpost worries I have about two things in this biography of a New Zealand woman. 1: This New Zealand journalist, documentary producer and television executive has decades of productive work (and no doubt, awards) behind her while working for multiple New Zealand media entities including Maori Television. Almost 50 percent of her biography is devoted to one incident in her life which generated a bunch of easy-to-cite media reference. Therefore I think this biography lacks balance. 2: The word "lied" I think is inappropriate in an encyclopedia entry, particularly that of a living person, and I think this should be removed. Many thanks! Tahatai (talk) 21:55, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to have been a small edit war over "lied" vs "misled" by single-serving editors in mid-2018. For what it's worth, the source says "misled". Also there's no agreement over whether she was born in 1962 or 1963; either someone comes up with a reference, or we take that out, and every other unreferenced, fact, as per WP:BLP. —Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 22:18, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I saw your message yesterday Giantflightlessbirds.:) The page is looking much better already.--Gertrude206 (talk) 06:42, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
