Complaint[edit]

   A colleague complained (by adding it at 11:31, 29 October 2014 to Isaac N. Carleton's entry in the article)

(why is he listed here and the others not?)=

and i have removed the entry (for an individual who's so called only bcz of the custom, in situations where the context is expected to make it clear which bearer of the surname is intended, of omitting all but the surname), in accordance with WP Dab'n guidelines and policies.
   In fact (while it's incredibly silly to single out Coons as the person you presumably have in mind if you're looking for a notable guy with that given name), even lists of people sharing a given name are not unwelcome, and the new reasonably thoro list of the "Carleton ___" folks is a far better place for the shot-in-the-dark "Carleton? Could you mean the briefly influential racist clown?" snatch of information, which the accompanying Dab page previously had.
