I don't have any commercial interest in this article, and it's not to be a marketing piece. Captain Tony's is as important a piece of Key West history as is Sloppy Joe's or any other Duval Street establishment, both of which have articles on wikipedia. I had the idea to include the article when I saw the one on Sloppy Joes, and also one on Captain Tony Tarracino, the former owner of this establishment.

If there is something that needs to be re-written to conform to guidelines, I'd be happy to do so (I'm kind of new here) but I would submit that if there were a reason to delete this, then so should be the article on Sloppy Joe's. In fact, this was the original Sloppy Joe's, and I thought I included a good bit of historical data on the building.

Please let me know how to proceed.

All right then, start off with the citations department. You added a Reference header, I am afraid it doesn't help in any way citing the article. References or citations mean you need to add a verified and authentic source to prove your claim. Please read Wikipedia:Citing sources for more details.
Secondly, rewrite the history section in a paragraph form linking all the individual statements. For help read Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Marsa Lahminal (talk) 17:43, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
