Merger[edit]

The Dhaka Cantonment is a part of the Cantonment Thana of Dhaka. Most of the content in the Dhaka Cantonment article overlaps with the Cantonment Thana article, as the Dhaka Cantonment article talks about military establishments within the Army HQs, and since they are physical structures, also come under the Cantonment Thana. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ratibgreat (talk • contribs) 10:13, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cantonment Thana is not a military establishment, it is an area of Dhaka, which warrants a geographic page. The two should not be merged. Some of the material here should probably be deleted as belonging instead to the thana. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 17:51, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
