Name(s)[edit]

I wonder if there should be an article with a different title that umbrellas all forms of picture storytelling in the way that this one currently attempts. "Cantastoria" is the Italian name for a specific type of picture recitation that originated in Italy and Sicily, and is now used by many English-speakers to refer to a wider variety of picture-performance forms. Original cantastorias have much in common with their relatives from other parts of Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas and Oceana, but are also quite different.
