The result of the proposal was PAGE MOVED to Cannabis Culture, per discussion below. That seems to be the solution that emerged from the discussion. If there are any questions, please let me know. -GTBacchus(talk) 18:54, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Cannabis Culture magazineCannabis Culture Magazine — As per the official website the full title of the magazine is Cannabis Culture Magazine. The word "Magazine" is included in the title and the M should be capitalized. — œ 20:28, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

  • Oppose See comments. TJ Spyke 22:09, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
  • Support Oppose I agree, the article's title should be plain-old Cannabis Culture, but it's better not to move it to CC Mag then to leave it where it is at CC mag. See below. Ed Fitzgerald t / c 06:55, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Discussion

Any additional comments:
  • Move to Cannabis Culture. According to the official website [1] (and by just looking at the actual magazine cover) the name of the magazine is just "Cannabis Culture". TJ Spyke 22:09, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Well of course they're going to shorten it to just "Cannabis Culture" in-text.. it's to not be so redundant.. Every "official" looking mention of the magazines name includes the capitalized "..Magazine", including how Marc Emery signs off as (in your given link, twice), and at the very bottom of the page along with the address. And going by the magazine cover it's actually "Cannabis Culture | Marijuana Magazine".. but I don't think the actual magazine cover should be relied on anyway. Plus look at the browser titlebar for the site.. "Cannabis Culture Magazine".. everywhere..
I can agree to renaming it to just "Cannabis Culture", however the actual magazine title is not so clear-cut and can still be disputed. -- œ 07:51, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Actually, the website doesn't really make things any clearer, since they use all three forms - Cannabis Culture magazine, Cannabis Culture Magazine, and just plain Cannabis Culture - somewhat interchangeably. Ed Fitzgerald t / c 09:44, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
HAd another, closer look, and I believe that they think of it as "Cannabis Culture Magazine", so I'm changing my vote. Ed Fitzgerald t / c 09:47, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
I have to agree with moving to Cannabis Culture here. Time is also often referred to as "Time Magazine" or "Time magazine", but it doesn't change the name of the magazine. The cover says Cannabis Culture, and the official site introduces the magazine like this: "Cannabis Culture is a magazine about marijuana and hemp around the world. Cannabis Culture is published..." I guess WP:COMMONNAME would apply then. But what about 420 (cannabis culture) or Drug subculture, which "Cannabis culture" currently redirects to, maybe it should be titled Cannabis Culture (magazine) then? -- œ 06:42, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
In my opinion, Cannabis culture is fine as a redirect to drug subculture, and Cannabis Culture can still be about the magazine (with a hatnotes from both pages to the other). See WP:CAPS#Page names that only differ by capitalization. However, I'm not against Cannabis Culture (magazine) either. Jafeluv (talk) 11:15, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
  • In reading through their website,[2] they changed the name of the magazine with issue #13 to Cannabis Culture. In many locations they confuse the issue by using Cannabis Culture Magazine, but they predominantly use "Cannabis Culture". They do not appear to be registered as a corporation with the Canadian Government. 199.125.109.126 (talk) 22:36, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Move

Moved page to Cannabis Culture (Magazine). I do see the 2+ year-old discussion here. I feel this is a good move to avoid confusion and need for hatnotes.Mjpresson (talk) 18:39, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
