Photos and Wikification[edit]

Let's provide photos, and wikify the article. Check out the American Idol Season 5 article for what I believe we should base this article on. I'd like this article to become a well-organized, clear article. Thanks. 154.5.130.212 02:26, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chart[edit]

A template has been created, and will be filled out by me each and every week. When the competition ends, the chart will have been filled in completely. Then, I will post the chart in this article. Please do not remove the "Semi-Finals/Finals elimination chart" heading. Thanks. Dam-itch 00:45, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If there's going to be no content in that section until the end of the season, then the heading shouldn't even be there right now. A blank section promising something will be "coming soon" doesn't look right for an encyclopedia, especially if it will be there for three months. Besides, the template should be updated in this article every week (as it was in American Idol (Season 5)) instead of just at the end of the season. Actually, I wanted to do that. However, I'm having difficulty doing so. If you'd like to help me out, I've set up the template here. Template:CI4ElimHist, if you missed the "here". You can fix the template, or make other changes to it. Anyway, thanks. Dam-itch 03:15, 23 June 2006 (UTC) (PS: I'm voting for Jeremy. Koz all the way! :P)[reply]
Just a note, Template:AI5ElimHist wasn't created until the Top 11. So, there really should be no chart until we hit the Top 10. 154.5.130.212 00:37, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the history of the AI5 article, there was a chart during the semi-finals, but it probably wasn't template-ized (is that a word?) until Top 11. We should have some sort of chart here starting next week, although I suggest seperating females and males until Top 10 for readability. Kirjtc2 02:03, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Top 10 Articles[edit]

Just like every other Top 12 competitor on American Idol, I think it's necessary for us to create articles for each of the Top 10 when they are revealed to the public, complete with the Promo pictures and everything. What do you think? Dam-itch 03:20, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's generally the wiki standard. All Top 10'ers from the first 3 seasons of CI have articles too. Kirjtc2 02:19, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contestants table[edit]

Here's a table we could use for the semi-finals, so that we don't mess up CI4ElimHist (which seems to be formatted for the finals) for now...

Judges comments[edit]

At the moment, the section seems extremely messy and not like something I would expect to see in an encyclopaedia. I believe the at the very most, judges comments for each of the last 5 eliminations should be replaced by a more general summation, rather than verbatim quotes. Personally, I would prefer to delete them outright to be consistent with the others, as this is the only Idol article with detailed judges' comments. Ohconfucius 06:41, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
