Untitled[edit]

I am working on making the article more "encyclopedic" — eliminating any promotion speak. Our sister organization "GEMS" has an accepted article in Wikipedia. Dutchbob (talk) 20:12, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

One of my references is from the Grand Rapids Press which is a major newspaper in Michigan. Daily circulation:137,323 (www.gr-press.com/main/) Another reference is The Banner which is the official magazine of the Reformed Church denomination and has been published for over 70 years and It is a member of the Associated Church Press and the Evangelical Press Association. Those are perfectly acceptable references: additions information needed is the date of publication, the page number (unless published only online or otherwise not available) the title of the story or article, and the author of the story or article if listed. The point is to enable anyone who wants to to verify that the reference supports the fact or facts for which it is cited. DES ^(talk) 23:28, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reference format[edit]

This article now uses list-defined references. This means that the details and metadata of all reference citations are collected in the references section, and each is identified by a reference name. Within the body of the article, citations are made with markup such as <ref name="fwhy" />. This format means that the details of the citation meta data do not clog the body of the article when editing. It also encourages proper reuse of citations.

References 1, 2, and 4 now have date and page. Others are missing just page. We will continue to look for those. I know they were physically in those issues (not just web) but difficult to get the info from the publisher.
