I moved the article to reflect the new name. However the title Calvin University is already in use for a school in South Korea so a disambiguation term is necessary. Calvin University (Michigan) follows the pattern of other schools in the U.S. Rmhermen (talk) 07:55, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Several incoming links about research on Nazi Germany and astronomy were for the Michigan uni, so it was misleading that they reached the page about the Korean uni. I was satisfied that the Michigan one is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC so I moved the former page to Calvin University (South Korea).

Hello John from Idegon and others. Regarding the reversions at Calvin University#Notable people as of 17:53, 8 July 2020 (#966705125), I deserve at least a whack with a wet trout. I see where some of my snap revisions went off the rails, but do have some questions that I hope will help me, as follow:
1. As to Meindert DeJong, why is not my wikilink to the Hans Christian Andersen Award appropriate? I would think most readers wouldn't be familiar with the award so, if they didn't care to read De Jong's whole article, the link would be helpful. I also note Haskins Medal is wikilinked for John Van Engen.
2. As to Betsy DeVos, why is not my wikilink and extension to United States Secretary of Education (or, I think, better now: U.S. Secretary of Education) appropriate? It seems to me just "Secretary of Education" would not indicate what body was involved, and it is not often seen, so a reader may wish to activate the link even if not interested in reading the entire DeVos article.
3. As to Richard DeVos, why are not my wikilinks to Amway and Orlando Magic appropriate? I believe such wikilinks are usual and note that entry for Vander Ark has the wikilink Republic Services (should Republic Services be deleted?)
4. As to Keith DeRose, why is not my wikilink to Yale University appropriate? I often see universities not related to the subject university wikilinked, and I note John Witte Jr. has Emory University School of Law and Carl Strikwerda has Elizabethtown College wikilinked.
5. As to William K. Frankena, why is not "UofM" written in full and wikilinked to University of Michigan? Many don't know "UofM" means the Michigan university (for example, University of Minnesota is referred to as "the U of M") and I again note John Witte Jr. has Emory University School of Law and Carl Strikwerda has Elizabethtown College wikilinked.
6. As to Hans Halvorson why is not my wikilink to Princeton University not appropriate? Again, I often see universities not related to the subject university wikilinked, and I again note John Witte Jr. has Emory University School of Law and Carl Strikwerda has Elizabethtown College wikilinked.
7. As to Bill Huizenga, what is wrong with wikilink U.S. Congressman? Article after article where a representative is featured, the wikilink is applied.
8. As to Rose Ibiama, why is not my wikilink to Academy Award-winning not appropriate? Article after article where a the award is featured after a person's name, the wikilink is applied.
9. As to M.I Abaga, why is musician capitalized? I don't see a "Nigerian Musician" as a unique, formal name no more than a Nigerian actor, singer, playwright, etc.
10. As to Peter Kreeft, why is not my wikilink to Boston College not appropriate? Again, I often see universities not related to the subject university wikilinked, and I again note John Witte Jr. has Emory University School of Law and Carl Strikwerda has Elizabethtown College wikilinked.
11. As to Todd Martinez, why is not my addition, "Edward Curtis Franklin Professor of Chemistry" and "Professor of Photon Science", and wikilinks for SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and Stanford University not appropriate? I submit the above reasons, that the Laboratory is unusual and the reader may want to see what it is about, they are supported in Martinez's Wikipedia article, and, again, they are consistent with John Witte Jr. being the Robert W. Woodruff Professor at Emory University School of Law and Carl Strikwerda as president of Elizabethtown College.
12. As to John A. O'Brien, why is not my wikilink to University of Notre Dame appropriate? Again, I often see universities not related to the subject university wikilinked, and again note John Witte Jr. has Emory University School of Law and Carl Strikwerda has Elizabethtown College wikilinked.
13. As to Jay Van Andel, should there not be a comma after his name and "Businessman" not capitalized?
14. As to John Van Engen, what is the problem with "Andrew V. Tackes" Professor "Emeritus of Medieval" History? I again note that John Witte Jr. is the Robert W. Woodruff Professor, Van Engen's Wikipedia article contains the designation, Hans Halvorson has "Stuart Professor of Philosophy", and, though Andrew V. Tackes Professor does not have an article, it seems any named professorship is notable and a holder considered more than just a professor.
I have no relationship with Calvin University or anyone associated with it, but have looked at random university alumni pages and it seems the above edits are not unusual, plus they are supported by the wikilinked articles of the subject alumni. Quaerens-veritatem, please see WP:ALUMNI. The article in question is primarily about the institution. We list notable alumni, but the details of the notable alumni's lives is not in any way about the institution. All you should include is the wikilinked name, and a brief description of the individual's primary notability. Any and all details of individual alumni's lives can be found by simply going to the wikilinked article. You know nothing more about Calvin by knowing that one graduate won an academy award or that a graduate that's a college professor is a college professor at a particular institution. It would seem notable that a graduate obtained a sufficient education to be a chaired professor at a top university, besides that has been done in the list before my edits. Also, there are several side issues I'd like you to address.
