We have a major problem... there is already a Wikipedia page for this highway under California State Highway 76. That page never got its name changed to California State Route 76, and now there are two pages on Wikipedia for the same highway.

Um... US 395 does not intersect CA-76; however, it used to. I labeled the junction as historic but the junction probably should be removed. --Rschen7754 03:25, May 2, 2005 (UTC)

  • oh okay, sorry -- i just get the junctions from Yahoo! maps. would the classicaiton of the junction as 'deleted (no longer in system)' be good? (it's in the legend). --atanamir 04:04, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
    • I marked the junction as deleted, and I added the mileposts; however, the (old) US-395 junction is not listed. However, the junction is right next to I-15 (Old US 395 acts as a frontage road to 15 now). So I know that the junction is probably about 17.0 --Rschen7754 04:06, May 3, 2005 (UTC)

  • Wikilink gasoline tax, and mark as "five-cents-per-gallon" (convert to L as well like I did in Interstate 470 in West Virginia).
  • "Caltrans tentatively approved the first 2.5 miles (4.0 km)" I know {{convert/spell}} isn't perfect but {{convert/spell|2+1/2|mi|km}} should be used.
  • Wouldn't File:Least Bell's Vireo USGS WERC.jpg be a more appropriate image as its the actual sub-species of bird being mentioned?
  • CTC is abbreviated in all mentions but not written out out anywhere.
  • "The cost of this portion was $10 million; at that time" - inflation template?

  • "Construction began on widening the highway in April 2008.[99] In March 2009, two lanes of a new 1.3 miles (2.1 km) realigned segment of SR 76 opened east of I-15." - Can these two sentences be combined. That first one seems very short.
  • "new four lane divided highway planned to open in September 2009." - did they open?
    • I couldn't find any source saying that it actually opened then, so I used that wording just to be safe. --Rschen7754 21:12, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
  • "For environmental mitigation, Caltrans purchased Rancho Lilac, which was 902 acres." - One, waht is Rancho Lilac, and 2 - conversion.

  • Ref 3: Thomas Brothers (2009). San Diego County Street Atlas (Map). - Can we get an OCLC or ISBN for this source?
  • First instances of items in your references should be wikilinked (e.g. Ca State Legislature, Caltrans, FHWA, etc.
  • I-805 has OCLC links for all the newspapers, if this is going to ACR next, I'd suggest getting them in sooner than later.

  • More of a personal preference, but I like to use {{commons category-inline}} as to not stack with the {{attached KML}} making unneeded whitespace in the section.
