Proposal to Merge with Invariant Chain[edit]

I propose that Invariant chain be merged into CD74.

  1. They essentially refer to the same thing. The functions previously ascribed uniquely to the "invariant chain" appear to be only some of the many functions of CD74.1 2 3
  2. Both articles are stub-class, so excessive article length isn't a problem at the moment.
  3. The CD74 page has already been nicely formatted with all the bells and whistles by a bot.

Support. This merger makes sense, so I went ahead and merged the two articles. Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).

Ii?[edit]

Where does Ii come from? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.100.104.104 (talk) 19:06, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It comes from a now-abandoned nomenclature system for the MHC gene region. I was for Immunity. I've added a history section to this page. Gold Broth (talk) 17:06, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
