Cleanup needed[edit]

I have tagged this page for both cleanup and wikifying. In addition, please be careful about maintaining neutral POV. Crunch 10:20, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy[edit]

It should be noted that she has also made extremely bad decisions regarding a player who was thrown out of 2 universities and yet after she bound and tortured a teammate for five hours had no regrets about picking her up. If I include a citation may I add it? — Please sign your posts on talk pages. The preceding comment was added by CharlieP216 at 12:16, 17 April 2007.

If the citation is valid, yes. Good luck with that. Crunch 00:56, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hillary Clinton Reference[edit]

Someone keeps deleting her recent meeting with Hilary Clinton and both Clinton and Barack's courting of Stringer. The fact that a Stringer is a lifelong Republican [[1]] being asked for her endorsement by both Democratic candidates is both newsworthy and relevant. [[2]] -- — Please sign your posts on talk pages. The preceding comment was added by 69.232.225.97(contribs) at 11:13, 22 April 2007.

I'm not sure anyone is deleting this. In any case, it's been put back in, edited for Neutral POV. There is no indication in the article that Clinton is asking Stringer for an endorsement and nothing in the article or elsewhere saying that Stringer is a "lifelong Republican." If you have that reference, by all means add it. --Crunch 18:00, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

==> Stringer's own words. The first article reference shows her political donations. All Republican. The preceding comment was added by 69.232.225.97(contribs)

Sorry, I don't see that article. What do you mean by "first article?" Anyway, since it's not clear from the Newsday article that the Clinton visit was politically motivated, Stringer's political affiliation does not seem relevant here. Crunch 20:55, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life[edit]

I recently heard an interview Stringer gave which heavily referenced her loss of her husband and its effect on her life. This material would greatly enrich the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.107.110.210 (talk) 03:46, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Iowa loves Stringer[edit]

Iowa thought the world of her! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.162.153.59 (talk) 16:11, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Status of board membership[edit]

Her term is finished at the WBCA Board, so I changed the sentence That sentence claimed current memberships in three boards, it now says past membership in three boards. To be correct, we need to ascertain her status re Amateur Basketball Association of the United States and Nike Coaches Advisory Board. I found a website for the first, but no reference to board members. I didn't find a website for the second. If someone can find them (and cite them), the sentence can be changed if necessary.--SPhilbrickT 14:47, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
