I merged (possibly crudely) what appears to be the same article burst mode, which is now a disambiguation page pointing to here. Cleanup required. Widefox 11:40, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Square wave bursting citation points at a review article, but maybe (rinzel 1987) or (bertram et al., 1995) should be added. This is what Izhikevich cites when he mentions square wave bursters. Alas, I have not read them. I came here looking for links, but my Uni doesn't have subscriptions for those journals going that far back. Additionally, need paragraphs on parabolic, elliptic, and what not (see Izhikevich). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.96.209.234 (talk) 17:50, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to check Scholarpedia if you haven't yet, since Eugene has been a major contributor there. Looie496 (talk) 21:37, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Some potential errors in the statistical detection section - the inter-event interval of a cox or poisson process isnt a poisson distribution. The poisson distribution is the number of events between times t and t + tau. The ISI of a poisson process is an exponential. This is not typically seen in data, where the ISI distribution seems to be a gamma distribution. 128.97.102.56 (talk) 18:52, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
