Hiking[edit]

The Hiking category actually covers much more than just Bukhansan. It applies to the National Park which includes Dobongsan and several other mountains and places of interest. As such it could have it's own article under Bukhansan National Park. Kellnerp (talk) 02:13, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Photos[edit]

The last picture does not contain an image of Bukhansan (or more correctly Samgaksan). It is merely an image of Cheong-wa Dae (The Blue House), the residence of the President of South Korea. The most recent photo also showed the Blue House, and Bugaksan, not Bukhansan (Samgaksan). I've deleted it. --Bentonia School (talk) 13:27, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV?[edit]

Calling the fortress a "must-see" is less encyclopedia-ish and more tourist-brochure. Useful information for a visitor but hardly neutral. 96.227.194.153 (talk) 12:26, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is quite a bit of "travel guide" type wording in many Korean mountain articles in English. The Korean articles focus much more on history. I am trying to figure out how to address this, perhaps by translating from the Korean side. However the Korean side is noticeably deficient in references for the information given. As most of the good sources for these mountains is going to be in Korean, translation is a big issue to getting quality information for English speakers.
