Proposed deletion[edit]

I've declined the prod on this page, primarily because WP:BEFORE easily demonstrated a notable subject, but also because the rationale given

Now in its 11th year as an unreferenced stub, this article could usefully be merged into building information modeling, which is widely discussed (8M+ articles in Google search, vs 24k for building lifecycle management) and which already discusses the whole life of built assets - and not just buildings.

does not really advance a valid reason for deletion. Being unreferenced stub for 11 years comes under WP:NORUSH. It is not permissible to both delete and merge a page. BIM and BLM are not synonyms – this article makes a clear distinction. Number of google hits is now, and always has been, per WP:GOOGLEHITS, a piss poor indication of whether a page should be kept or deleted. SpinningSpark 16:24, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
