Parish(es), district(s)?

Almost 15 years ago an IP added the "Divisions" section, elaborating on an earlier statement that a parish boundary divided the site. Does anyone know what has happened since? Euxton parish council website has very little to say about Buckshaw Village ("in its wake a new township has evolved that of Buckshaw Village with much of the old 900 acre site now covered with houses, light industry, and a railway station (which is the old ROF station, 'ROF Halt'), and other essential amenities that are needed for a new village to grow. " from a detailed, but undated, "History" section). PamD 12:38, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

The maps on NOMIS show that at the 2011 census Buckshaw Village was still divided between South Ribble (specifically Leyland St Ambrose ward), Euxton parish and Whittle-le-Woods parish. (Pinging @Crouch, Swale: who likes digging around about parishes: have the borders been changed since then?) PamD 12:48, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

• Ah no, forget it: Just scrolled down the home page of the Euxton parish council and found "The Parish does, however, also include a large part of Buckshaw Village, a large, new, dynamic and still in progress mixed development on the site of the former Euxton Royal Ordnance factory (other parts of Buckshaw are in Whittle-le-Woods Parish).   Its partly in Leyland unparished area in Ribble Valley, and partly in the parishes of Euxton and Whittle-le-Woods. The boundaries Mapit shows appear to be exactly the same so it doesn't appear the boundaries have changed. Crouch, Swale (talk) 13:56, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
