Misplaced photo[edit]

The photo of Garner and Kelly is from the original series, not this revival. It should be moved to the article on the original show. 68.146.233.86 (talk) 15:36, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's there but a photo of Garner and Kelly playing the same characters in similar costumes in the series upon which Bret Maverick was based would presumably be better than nothing despite there being no photographs in Wikimedia available for this series. Number Of Episodes?[edit]

At the column on the top right, it says there are 18 episodes. But, down below in the ratings section, it says there are 20 episodes. Shouldn't both of these numbers be the same number? One of them must be incorrect or entered incorrectly. Could somebody figure out the real number and fix this problem? HaarFager (talk) 20:08, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

it's trivia, and perhaps insignificant[edit]

but maybe there's a story behind it. I don't know anything about the script writing, personel or studios etc, but William Shatner appears on the Big Valley episode "A Time to Kill" as Brett, an old friend of Jarrod Barkley, and in the opening scene Jarrod says to him, "Brett, you wild and wandering maverick!" Later it turns out the character is named Brett Skyler so there's no tie-in intended, but seems like it must have been a salute of some type. The episode is on youtube. 2603:8001:D3F0:87E0:0:0:0:1DF6 (talk) 07:53, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
