The modern Spanish words for bretèche are es:ladronera and as synonym es:buharda (the latter had a different origin), but there's no article in eswiki right now on either. Have mörser, will travel (talk) 01:31, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The reference to "ladrón" being derived from "latrine" should be removed, because they're not related by any means; "ladrón" is from Latin "latrō[nem]", while latrine is a shortening of "lavātrīna", derived from "lavō". Cirxe (talk) 21:40, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
