Restoring the Page for Bren School of Environmental Science & Management[edit]

This page was previously deleted on the grounds that the Bren School is a sub-unit of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and can be adequately described under that heading. However, I believe the Bren School is of sufficient size and influence to warrant its own page. In support of that argument, I offer the following points:

  • Other comparable professional schools have dedicated pages (e.g. Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies).
  • According to the statistics at http://stats.grok.se, the redirect pages "Bren School of Environmental Science & Management" and "Bren School of Environmental Science and Management" have been hit about 1000 times in the past 6 months. This suggests that Wikipedia users regard the Bren School as a separate entity from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

To-Do List[edit]

  • Provide a better description of the PhD program.
  • Expand the History section.
  • Provide more references -- preferably references other than the Bren School's own website. The U.S. Green Building Council should be able to provide better references regarding Bren Hall's LEED certification.
  • Provide an introduction to the Research Affiliations section -- what is the significance of these affiliations?
